Answering these questions was optional and not required to complete the survey. A list of the 11 responses is provided in Additional file 2: Appendix 2. dConsistent with prior research, paired preliminary studies were defined as full-length original research articles in peer-reviewed journals. They also were required to report identical intervention components including duration, location, and target population and could not vary on reported sample size by greater than ± 5 participants
