  1. We designated three participants with shaft of femur fractures (which FICB would have benefitted) as ‘true positives’ on the advice of the independent TSC. Of the ‘false positives’, three patients had suffered with other fractures—of acetabulum, pelvis, or pubic ramus, but they would not have benefitted from FICB
